Dignity Players and director Mickey Lund are seeking a male actor aged 20-40 to play the role of Leaf Coneybear in their upcoming production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. A baritone singing role, Leaf Coneybear is a second alternate in the spelling bee with severe ADHD and a wandering focus. Rehearsals begin in early June with performances the first three weekends in August. Please contact director Mickey Lund if interested.

Dignity Players is pleased to partner once again with Bay Theatre Company to present a staged reading of The Petoskey Stones, a new play by Elizabeth Sampson and directed by Scott Alan Smith for one night only on Monday, June 3 at 7:30pm at the UUCA. Enjoy free wine and the beautiful words of this new play as we celebrate the success of the Bay Theatre Company which is suspending its 12 year run in the Annapolis area. Beginning in September of 2013, Dignity Players will present three plays and one musical demonstrating the power art has on the lives of individuals in all walks of life.
